Cutting kikuyu at 15mm with the 17 inch Supaswift that is now 6 months old. A brilliant mower made from all metal construction, with a great cut and is nice and heavy on the lawn. Loncin engine is reliable and has plenty of power. Against other 30+ year old, 2nd hand machines available on the market, the price point is fantastic value. You can purchase with confidence that everything is straight, square and without any cracking. My only three criticisms are: - The throttle control does feel a bit cheap with a fair bit of play - The ribbed rear roller can be quite harsh on the lawn particularly during turns. A smooth roller option would be brilliant. - The instruction manual needs a lot of work particularly for beginners to cylinder mowing - its pretty basic. That being said these criticisms are small in the grand scheme of things and I would highly recommend this mower to anyone wanting to up their lawn game. It's a quality mower with quality construction at a genuine value for money price. You won't be disappointed.
